General Information

Classes

Your language classes will be in the morning provided on-campus with a maximum of 16 students per class. You will focus on improving conversation skills in English or French.

Activities & Excursions

Each afternoon is filled with a fun activity. Together with the other campers, you will explore one of our destination cities. Imagine biking the seawall, a walking tour through Chinatown, hiking in Lynn Valley or going up the CN Tower. Think about tasting poutine, hiking Mont Royal and a visit to Toronto Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada. All activities are organized and led by a camp leader. Saturdays are for day-trips! You will spend the day visiting Whistler, Québec City or Niagara Falls. We also make sure there is time for some shopping before you return home.

Accommodation

During your stay, we will provide homestay accommodation. Living with a Canadian family gives you another opportunity to really immerse yourself in the Canadian culture and lifestyle. Your homestay includes a single room with three meals per day. You will have breakfast and dinner at home while a packed lunch is provided during weekdays. On the weekend, depending on your excursion and the host family’s plans, you may have a packed lunch or have lunch at home.

Care & Safety

What differentiates us from everyone else is that we treat every student as family. During your stay, we ensure you feel as if this is your home away from home. Policies and procedures are in place to ensure classes, activities and excursions are safe. Staff and teachers meet all provincial requirements to care for minor students and have years of experience. For minor students, custodianship can be requested in the package. A 24hr emergency line and a designated group leader are available for any issues from the day you arrive. Health insurance is mandatory and included for each student.

Transportation

Airport transfers are included in your camp package. From a safe arrival from the airport to your departure, we have you covered. During your camp, you will use public transportationto come to campus as well as for your activities.
